Collect the happy stuff – Photos, Ideas and Moments
When you feel super rough – and it happens..it’s great to have a way to tap into happy things immediately.
I collected quotes – randomly quite a lot of my friends wrote me post-its.
I stored them up – and when I felt shit….I had a look at these. Finding courage in your friends is possible and helpful.
And I know I’ve been told that some people find it helpful to take photos of things that make them happy – nature, beautiful design, their family….and roll these out when they’re sad.
Let the feelings flow – the good, the bad and the ugly. If it’s ugly maybe limit the time you allot to thinking.
Then dig out the happy thoughts by looking at your visual cues to happiness.
